    Trouble seeing the puddle

Good auto darkening hood will help, I have a sentinel A50 and like it. I also have a pipeliner with a #9 gold lens. That’s just as good and a quarter of the price. Once you weld with a gold lens you won’t go back to the green.

    Aluminum trailer tailgate ramp build

I like that XMT setup. I have the 304 at home and use the older 300's a lot at work (stick only). I've been waiting for a wire feeder to add to my arsenal. Hard to beat the arc of those machines

I recently moved from 128cf bottle to a 380cf. Won’t ever go back. Welded this bucket up with 3 passes around every plate. Tank still has 2100psi. That’s 13 hours of welding.

It’s all about axle spacing and “bridging” weight on the road. The axles are already rated for 22k pounds each. A typical tri-axle trailer with axle spacing less than 9’ overall can only be licensed for 42k here in MN. If you spread the axles out to 9’1” it allows you 51k. This trailer...

Converted a tri-axle leaf sprung trailer to a tandem axle with a 3rd air lift tag axle. Notched the frame 18” and reinforced from in front of notch back to beaver tail. Doing this allows for 9k more gvwr to allow for hauling a track hoe.

Discount Steel is good for random drops but full length Steel there is definitely no discount. Better prices can be had a few blocks away.
