Anyone have experience with LED strip lighting for kitchen lighting?

Hi Steve, What you have is pretty much exactly what I am looking to do. Didn't think about doing lights under the countertop or toekick but now you have me thinking! :) I fixed the link but the LED's planned are 2835 LED Strip Light 60LEDs/m, CRI95/CRI90, 14.4W/m, 24V. I am using that dimmer...

Anyone have experience with LED strip lighting for kitchen lighting?

Hi, I was wondering if you can help validate my design for LED strip lighting for under counter and above counter lighting and provide any suggestions. The total length of the strips will be ~24' for one area and ~16' for the other area. My plan was as follows. Areas Area 1 (24') Place driver...

    MaxJax cylinder removal

See page 12 of the manual for reference. I had to remove mine to rebuild and I recall doing something like the following. 1. Remove arms 2. Remove hose 3. Lift carrier (lift head) as high as you can go without it coming out of the top of the column. I think held it with my shoulder. 4. Lift the...

    Install my own generator?

If it’s only 16’ why not use 2/0 copper. It’s more expensive but it’s a short run. Steve

    Help identify NEMA plug?

Looks like a L15-30 (3 phase) to me but L14-30 looks very similar. We use these in the PDUs in our server racks. You can use this picture to match which it is. https://www.customavrack.com/products/1001-nema-l6-30p-plug-adapters.aspx Steve

    Broken water line

Any chance you have an irrigation system? A lot of times it’s tapped right after the main. So if you have a valve open or broken the water could be leaking in that area instead of the path where the line to your house runs. Steve

Hi Nigel, By high side I mean the side that is higher when lifting. What I did was installed it with it fully open. I then ran it up and down and each time reduced the flow slightly until I got it to where both arms raise at the same height. I did this with no load originally and made some...

@realien no not really as it was several years ago. Below are a few pictures that show how I mounted it. It hangs from the top so nothing is screwed to the column. Steve

Weird as it comes up for me. https://www.globalindustrial.com/p/dynamic-jp-fc-micrometer-adjustment-knob-3-8-npt Search for WBB537232 if the link does not work. As far as adding adapters I think it would depend on your setup. I mounted my pump on one of the columns. Below is a picture with...

@realien you may want to install a flow control valve on the high side line. I did that and was able fine tune the high side. Lifts even now. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/maxjax-lifting-uneven.42844/post-4083438 Steve
