I think you can't really go wrong with any of the major brands. I have a Ridgid one from Home Depot and have had no issues with besides one little quirk. For some reason they make their base opening a little wider than a PC one so I had to buy an aftermarket Milescraft base to get router bit...
Good ideas. I recommend also getting a dust filter as well that you can mount to the ceiling. As far as the comment needing dual 8 foot infeed and outfeed tables, if you run in to that space limitation I recommend looking in to a track saw or circular saw guide to rip down your plywood sheets.
Since everyone's feet are different I think you should just shop around and see what shoe fits your foot the best. I keep hearing good things about Keen but the last few times I went to look for work and hiking boots I could not find a style that fit my feet very well.
I've had the Dewalt DS709 for about a year now and have had no issues with it what so ever. I got it for $399 on sale from Lowes but HD also has the same one. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles on it but it is a very accurate and capable saw. I have a new Diablo crosscut blade and it...
Exactly. I would start off with the assumption that the garage adds nothing to the price of the property. Make sure you have a good real estate agent as well as do your own due diligence as to the value. Remember the market sets the value and keep in mind that this is mostly a financial decision.
Great tool. You will wonder how you did any screw bolt driving use before. I don't know about those two but I had a Porter Cable NiCad for 6-7 years that gave me no issues until the battery started to die. I have since upgraded to a Lithium Makita and have been happy.
I don't have experience with the Delta table saw but I have the Ridgid R4512 and have had good results with it plus it has a lifetime service agreement. I was also able to use the HF 20% off coupon at Home Depot. I have heard that some do not take the coupon but it is worth a try.
I have one of the made in Japan cat's paw and it has been used to tear out siding, a couple of decks, fences, and assorted odds and ends. So far no issues with it.
