Re: What did you do to your garage today?
Cleaned up and put away the tools I used 2 days ago to replace the drivers side hub actuator on my wife's F-150 FX4 and cleaned up / degreased the floor from that job.
I know should have done it when I finished the repair but I finished the repair 30...
How far are you planning to move it? It is possible to move it in tact. like others have said using some kind of bracing underneath etc...
If you are going very far you should look into getting it permitted by that I mean oversize load permits anything over 8'6" wide and anything over 13'6"...
Moved the Monte over some today so I could get the wife's truck in the garage to replace the fron hub actuator so I was able to get a couple better pics of the workbench and shelving.

Thanks. Plans for the MC are to finish up the rust repairs, and body work hopefully this spring/summer get it back in paint. Plan is to paint it gloss black and maybe black out the bumpers too. It's going to be a cruiser. I have retro-fit a Tuned Port Injection system into it from an 89 IROC-Z...
It has been a while and I have made some progress in the garage. I now have the soffit shelves up and functional although I still need to get the sliding doors on them as well as some drywall.
I have also built a new work bench and got rid of the old PC Desk and cheap dinner table I was...
I lived in Odessa from 83 to 89 as a teenager. It is my home town and still have a lot of family there. I left in 89 when I went into the service. You are right about the BBQ and Mexican food. I use to enjoy watching the storms/tornado's form off in the distance.
I don't care for either team that played last night and it was the only day of my days off that I got the chance to spend time in my garage. So, I worked on building my new work bench. When I did come in the game had just finished... I'll have to post some pics later tonight maybe.

Thanks for the info guys, I've tried sharpinging them before but never knew the theory of the proper way to sharpen them. Now once I get my new bench built and I get my bench gringer I can start sharpinging that drawer full of bits I have.
Guess it is time to start my own thread on my build. This is my attached 2 car 20x24 garage that we built a little over a year ago.
I have been slowly trying to get my garage and my car into shape but it has been slow going. Here are some pics of my progress.
Lighting: CL find $80 for 3-8...
Just picked me up a HF Blast cabinet off CL, works great. Already blasing some parts for my car. Pretty sure the wife would kill me if I put some parts in her oven though.... She's already got a story about parts in the bath tub... lol...
