I think it maybe took 10 minutes to convert. I think even using the word convert is somewhat of a stretch and new gun could just be assembled to dispense oil.. I would only use the word convert in the case of what I did because I had to clean old grease out first..

I just converted a HF cordless grease gun.. Works like a champ does leak some oil out of the tip if it lays on its side..

the Junk store In Akron used to do that with drill bits and taps.. Looking back I wish I would have bought many more LBS. of bits there.. It was all US made stuff... I may have to go check that place out looks like mostly junk from the pics.

Same here.. sometimes I will buy another brand as a impulse buy or because I know I will need a extra and I am at the welding supply or something.. But they dont really seem much better and dont last dramatically longer(certainly they dont surpass the cost difference in the extra time I might...

Orange one is welded. I dont know why that makes it better but some people think it does.. The chicoms cant weld for **** so I would prefer the bolted one which is what I have, also the orange one had the cast iron arbor plates which explode not a bonus.. The new grey one has steel arbor...

Man wright, proto, armstrong all the industrial brands could have you a set over night.. Wright is about 1/2 the price to.. No way I would wait for snappy for a 3/4 set..
