I feel your pain. I have a C6 with an aero kit that won't allow the arms of my Rotary SPOA9 underneath. Some lift manufacturers sell low profile lift arms (set of 4) which would solve the problem, but Rotary doesn't provide them for the SPOA9. I built a set of 4 ramps out of 2x6's that I...
PCustoms has it right. How about a word picture?
On a North/South waterline, starting at the north:
90 ell pointing to the East
90 ell pointing to the South
To center tap of tee, with the other two outlets pointing East and West
90 ell on the west pointing side of tee, ell pointing to the...
Thanks all! I think the 3 90's and tee are the way to go. I went to a plumbing supply house, and they didn't have the no-stop slip couplings in PVC, and with the speed the solvent cement sets up, I'd bet it would be tough to get it all the way on one side with cement, add cement to the other...
Yeah, I struggled with Con's on #2. I'm sure I can install it without leaks. I've done hundreds of feet of PVC for irrigation systems. It just seems over complex. I was hoping for a "just do this instead" response.
By "slip coupling" do you mean or
If the first, yeah I know how to install that. Have you used those w/o leaks?
If the second, I don't understand how this is better than just the tee.
I'm adding a sink to my shop, and to supply the water, I need to tap into an existing buried water line. This line is about a 125' run from the house to our garden/chicken coop area. I need to tap in at about 75' from the house. The water line is 1/2" Sch 40 PVC.
Here's my question for the...
He said in the video that his wood wedge was 2" tall, and he cut the slot to 1.75" deep to leave the wedge 1/4" proud of the slot so that it could be mashed over. But it still didn't look like it seated all the way in (more than 1/4" proud).
Justin:
If you are interested in the cheapest protection for your blast cabinet glass, I have had good luck just putting a layer of 3M clear packing tape on the inside of the glass. If you replace it before it gets truly opaque, the tape stays in one piece better as you pull the old strips...
I used the 4x8'x1.5" foil backed foam sheets, and cut them to size. They were a pretty tight fit in door. While I don't have any before/after measurements, I think that this helped. But both my doors face north, and the Arizona sun doesn't shine directly on them. If you have a south or west...
Just to provide a counter point, I erected my 25x43 with no experience, using friends as the crew, and renting the necessary equipment from the local Home Depot (for the most part). I did get some great advice from @readhead which saved me some time and headaches. I made a few mistakes, but...
You may be able to get installation instructions from the lift manufacturer as well, for anchor bolt specs, etc.
I installed my Rotary SPOA9 after it was disassembled by the previous owner. It was pretty straightforward.
