Hi guys, I'm going to develop some grease suction guns and pans just like the pictures below. Does these stuff commonly used in the US? As well as the normal size and capacity of barrels?

I do some research. Here is the way:
Remove the battery from one pole.
Clip on the positive, and clip the negative pole cable which you removed.
Remove two connection terminal, and clip on the removed line without touching the battery.
Is this correct?
I got a new jump starter from my partner.
However, I'm not sure how I would test something like this without a dead battery. My Subaru battery was changed just last year, and though my battery is 5 years old now, it hasn't shown many signs of degradation.
