I subscribed to Angies List when I bought my first home and found that all of the same places were on Yelp and offered the same "referral discounts" as Angies List. Not worth the money at all.

Here is a picture of my first home, a 1930s spanish style in N Long Beach. It had double doors. Wish I had known about this website when I was working on that garage, could have made it a lot better.

Has anyone seen or rigged a shop vac to have a setup similar to a central vacuum system like a home would have? My hope was to take a single shop vac, split it to 3 or 4 pipes that each run to a difference saw or sander. Each one could have a cap to keep the suction up for whatever pipe was open...

I had the white one up at my last house in the garage. We attached it to 1x2s on the top, bottom, and center going across the entire way. I had a pegboard tool rack which held over a dozen big items on it on one side of the pegboard. Beyond that it was used for little stuff. Never had an issue...

Thanks for the suggestions and advice guys. I do work somewhere with a loading dock so I'll have to check and see if that would be possible, otherwise I will just contact who I buy it from and see if I can skip the loading dock all together.
