Not exactly garage, (could be if you have finished areas), but you guys are so darn smart I had to ask. Paint chipped off the wall so of course I picked on it a little. Is this mold?

    Electric furnace not heating fully?

Electric furnace is struggling to keep temp. Air coming from the duct is cool-lukewarm. Rheem unit. Air filter is clean, coil element in the duct is clean. There are two circuit breakers on the unit. CB1 powers the brains and 1/3 of the heating elements. CB2 looks to just power 2/3 of the...

    Lean-to questions

yes, pole barn construction, sorry, big detail left out there. Poles are 7' 6" apart, so that side has 4 poles total. Snowfall, I do not know what the 100 year number is, but I'm positive that we average less than 2' of snow per year, usually small dusters and amounts under 6" at a time. Good...

Garage door opener angle/need to adjust after sheetrock?

Hey guys, long time no see. I sheetrocked/drywalled (5/8") the 3 car that is attached to the house this past weekend and wondered if the new lower angle of the rails and specifically the opener would create any problems? Both openers and bars seem to be at a pretty big angle now, tracks don't...

    Lean-to questions

I currently have a 30x30 with 10' side walls. On one side, I would like to put up a lean-to/carport area to store stuff and maybe park the trailer or DD. I would like the area to be 10-12' wide, the length of the building. Pitch would have to be minimal, like maybe even a 2/12 to be able to...

Letters from Santa for a cause

since free parking is no longer, thought that I would put this in here for people to read/buy If you have kids, nieces, nephews, etc that still believe in Santa Claus, this is a great gift for them, and for a great cause at the same time. The volunteers take the fields as you have filled them...

    Clearcoating over decals, posters, etc?

I've seen where people have clearcoated emblems and such into their floors, but how hard do you think it would be to clearcoat a decal or a poster into a fridge door? If clearcoating a poster, should it be laminated first?

Opinions on two different wall construction options

wow 3 months later and I'm finally getting back to doing this this weekend picked up some 1/2" x 4" redibolts, 1-1/2" for the base plate, 2-1/2" into the concrete floor should hold it, eh? I'm excited. Just one wall is totally going to change this shop.

Show me pics of your fridge, give me ideas...

Picked up a fridge for the shop today. It's ok the way it is, but I may liven it up a bit with a fresh paint job, some vinyl graphics, signage, unique finish, who knows. Post up pics of your fridge if it has a non-standard finish or ideas of what I could possibly do to Brown Betty to liven her...
