So my logic is sound on this?

    Evap Cooler Sizing Validation Needed

Looking at doing an eval cooler in my garage. 25*50*15=18750 CFM. To circulate every 2.5 minutes, I need a 7500 CMF cooler based on my reading. Or ~9,375 to get an exchange every 2 minutes, which wouldn't break my heart unless we're dealing with diminishing returns on the sizing vs. cost...

    Cooling My Steel Building/Workshop

I had a guy that does all my HVAC stuff come take a look at it today. He's going to get me hooked up with what I need. That misting roof thing sounds interesting. The problem is the water here is so hard that it gets deposits all over the place.

The roof panels have a reflective coating on them, there is some radiant heat, but the eave is 14' and the peak is about 17', so it's really not an issue. Plus it's not like I make my living in the shop and am in it 40-60 hours a week. More like a hobby situation and really it would probably...

    Garage Floor Leveling Advice Sought

Not an option. To do something like that would be overkill. I might be able to take some pics this weekend. Really, it's more of an inconvenience than anything. Worst case, I'll just get a big squeegee and deal with it. If there was some sort of epoxy I could pour on it in that spot that...

    Garage Floor Leveling Advice Sought

So one of the bays in my garage has a low spot in it. Concrete floor, not a glass finish, but basically smooth. When I was it out some water will puddle towards one of the corners and I'm looking to get it fixed. I don't think self leveling concrete will work too well as it's probably not...

    Cooling My Steel Building/Workshop

Interesting that there are a bunch of posts on how to heat your garage this late in the year. I'm not really finding a whole lot, probably doing it wrong. Are the direct/indirect coolers more for commercial use? I'm not really finding any for sale.

I'm not necessarily even looking to insulate. I'm figuring the amount of hours I'd have to run the evap cooler to recover the cost of the insulation is probably prohibitive.

    Cooling My Steel Building/Workshop

I have a 25*50 building with a 25*25 shop area that I need to cool. I'm looking to do an evaporative setup that will help to make these Las Vegas summers more bearable. The shop area has a man door and two 12*12 rollup doors. If there are better keywords to search let me know, otherwise and...

Man door in roll up door.

The pass door is on a hinge and the roll up door rolls up and down around it. If you left the pass door swung in, the other door would come down, and you would have a hole the size of the door in it.

Man door in roll up door.

Mine is a roll up, not a sectional. I've seen all of those, but the day and night one. Mine is a true roll up, can't remember the manufacturer, they are out of Arizona. What I'm looking for is big in Britain, I've seen it a few times on Wheeler Dealers, and some of the other shows there...

Man door in roll up door.

Thanks for the info guys. I've called a few places, including the manufactures of the roll up doors, a probably half a dozen or so local guys and even a couple of national guys. They all act like I'm some kind of ***** because they've never heard of such a thing and since they've never heard...

Man door in roll up door.

Hey guys, new to the forum here and I'm looking for some information. I tried to search, but when I searched for "man door" it brought me almost every door post out there. What I have is a commercial roll up door, actually two of them, 12*12 and want to put a man door in one of them. These...
