I was thinking of using the original boards. But they have holes all through them. The sentimental value is the over riding factor in this build...

So I've moved into my late grandfathers old workshop and I'm in the process of getting everything... Back to scratch. I want to keep everything generally the same (I guess like putting muscle on. your skeleton is still the same)
So I'm starting off with the bench he made. It's a little miss...
I had a look today, and to be honest I think they were alright. I do know they have off centre box ends. Even the ratcheting wrenches have slight imperfections with that. But these didn't seem too bad, I just don't want them breaking on me!

I have the opportunity to snap up a set of metric (8-22) and imperial (1/4"-1") GearWrench combination spanners for $99.95. I was wondering if they are quality units?

Being in Australia, How can i get a box full of tools? i see in there catalog i ordered that you sort of can make your own set up, anyone know how i go about it? bit frustrated :dunno:
Something came in the mail today!
got the T bar and first thing I'm going to do with it is clean it up (very little, but irritating all the more, rust)
I got this blue point T bar off eBay for $15
Good deal or what? I know blue point is a branch of snap on, but what's the overall quality like? I've used their T bars before hand, but nothing else
I haven't tig welded before but I've used oxy-acetylene (welding and cutting) gas less and gas mig, and I own an old (think it was my grandfathers) stick welder.
I do a lot of steel fab but I haven't done any aluminium because my welder holds me back. I'm keen to get into aluminium...
