I wish I'd seen the GDOs that mount on the exterior wall rather than the standard type prior to my new house build. Cleaner look, more room for lift, etc. I did manage to remember to get a ceiling fan installed, it's hot in TX summer!

Probably too late, but when we built our house the showers were built with the rubber membrane/tile, but more importantly, set below the height of the floor so there is no step over, which makes for less cleaning, too.
