4 post lifts : hobby lifts Peak 408p Vs Atlas 408SL

I just purchased a HALO 9K 4 post. One of the reasons I went with the HALO is that it has 14 locking positions VS the typical 10. Easier to get closer to the ceiling. During my research, I also found that a lot of the lifts, now including Bendpak, are made in China, so the Chicom aspect...

    Lowes deals/sales/clearance

The 1.2 GPM is not on sale anymore, back up to $139, but it still has the member $40 discount available, so it comes out to $99. Now the 1800/1.1 GPM is on sale for $99.00, but no additional member discount, which is a bummer. The 1.2/1800 machine for $60 was a smoking deal !!

Cleaning mouse rodent droppings from epoxy floor

You'll definitely want to put bait traps around the OUTSIDE perimeter of your home come September and several peanut butter garnished snap traps inside now. Seems like you may have a severe rodent issue.

    Siga and Rockwool . . . worth the $?

Rockwool is pretty rodent proof. Even city rats stay away from it. They can't chew it or eat it, as it messes up their mouths and intestinal tract.

    Clopay Garage Door Panel

I too am raising my garage door height (to support install of a lift). Yes, you have to get an all new track set, otherwise the door will not work correctly. I contacted a Clopay Master Authorized Dealer near me. They could get me anything I want, track sets, door panels, etc. However, for...

Fix drywall or cover it with paneling

Not an expert, but I believe the drywall in your garage, if attached, is usually required to be 5/8" in order to establish a 1 hour fire rating between the garage walls/ceiling and the living space. Maybe in 1986 it was different, but that's what it is now. The drywall also acts as sound...
