    Troy-Bilt Chipper/Shredder

I have a Troy-Bilt Chipper/Shredder, I believe the model is CS4210. It has a 10hp Briggs & Stratton engine. I was wondering if any of you are familiar with this and what they think about them. For me, I'm pretty happy with it, as long as you know what and what not to run through it. It has...

    Battery won't Charge?

I have a DEWALT DW920K-2 7.2V screwdriver and recently I ordered a new battery (not Dewalt brand) and it works just fine, but when I went to charge it nothing happens, no light nothing? As I looked I noticed the battery I ordered is a NIMH and the batteries that came with it are NiCd, and the...

    Impact Wrench

I'm looking into purchasing a cordless impact wrench most likely 1/2 inch, and 18 volts I think should be enough. I don't want to break the bank but I would like to keep it under $200. I am mainly going to be using it for removing lug nuts and some suspension work on my Silverado. What is...

Would like to add 240v outlet in my garage

First some info, it's a detatched garage that my dad and mom had built in the 80's. It has two 20 amp breakers in the main box on the side of the house going to the garage. Now my dad just passed 2 years ago so I can't ask him, but I sort of remember him saying something about the contractors...

    AC outdoor unit problem

I ordered a new run capacitor and new start capacitor. Today I tried running the AC and this time the fan doesn't turn on at all, All I can hear is the compressor running, I feel it should be one of those, if still nothing I suppose it could be the fan motor itself. I had this system installed...

    AC outdoor unit problem

My central AC will start normal for a few cycles and then from what I can tell the fan on the outdoor unit (RUUD Model: UAMC-048JAZ) is not on, and the compressor is not on. I am thinking (well hoping) that its the capacitor. The thing is after it sits for a while it will start working again...

    Air Compressor motor

Well everyone thankyou for your input. Well I am waiting on a new motor to get shipped to me, its a 2hp and should work well. As for my old 1 hp that came with the original unit, I got the correct pully for it and it did spin faster but same thing. So I also out of curiosity re-wired the...

    Air Compressor motor

I used a calculator at blocklayer.com I'll post the out come when I get the pulley. I didn't even think about it that way, I was just figuring that the pump would be turning with way less rpm. Forgot it would work the motor more. Well until the right pully gets here.

    Air Compressor motor

Yes the new pump claims to be a 2hp unit, even though the SCFM specs are the same as the original 1hp pump (5.3@90psi & 6.2@40psi) Yes in the 15 seconds it's tripping the breaker with the tank drain open. And yes I did change the motor pully. But its still a little smaller than what is...

    Air Compressor motor

No It's an old Sears compressor 1 hp the specs say it can run on a 15 amp circuit by itself. Says at max pressure it pulls 15.5 amps. But I had to replace the pump, and the new one says its a 2 hp. The old motor was working but then it started tripping the breaker like 15 seconds after...

    Air Compressor motor

So that TSC motor is a true 2hp for $350 and all the motors I see going for $150-$199 are probably SPL hp. Even the one above of the pic I posted was advertised for $119.99 I thought that was to good. But you get what you pay for most of the time. Thank you fellas I appreciate your input and...

    Air Compressor motor

It is going to go on a 12 gallon compressor with a 2 HP pump. And I'd like to run it on 120.

    Air Compressor motor

Hey everyone, I have a question about what to look for in a compressor motor. I need a 2 hp motor with 3450 rpm. I'm looking at one that says the duty cycle is continuous, that's good right? And it says service factor 1.0???? Not sure on that. Here are the specs: Is this a good one
