Anyone seen this yet? Screw Grabber.

I'd say the biggest difference I see VS. the screwdrivers posted is that this isn't a completely special driver. You could have one of these on every screwdriver you already own for less than the cost of a couple drivers with holders built in.

Because choosing a particular drive for every job is so easy. How many things do you work on that come with hardware? And where the hell do you buy Robertson fasteners anyway? Those things usually do nothing but piss me off by showing up on something I need to fix in the middle of nowhere when I...

    Lowes vs. Home Depot?

Both are about the same distance from me, but I almost always end up at the Lowes. Most of the time I'm there looking for hardware and Lowes has a far better selection, especially when it comes to metric or stainless. The other day I went to HD because I happened to be in that shopping center...

    Cherry picker rotisserie build.

I didn't even get to see the welds in question, but as someone who welds for a living if I see something inadequately welded, especially something that could injure somebody, I'm going to call them out on it. It's not being an *******, and it's not being a troll. It's trying to prevent someone...

    High Lift 4 Post Lift

And people like to argue that spelling and grammar don't matter. I couldn't make it halfway through that.

You obviously dont work on boats, where every bolt and screw is made from stainless and doesn't stick to magnetic screwdrivers. If you look closely there are actually ribs molded in that grab the heads of the screw. I've tried hose....it doesn't work that well. I've also tried tape, it does work...

Seems like a simple tool that would eliminate a lot of headaches, at least when you're dealing with non-magnetic screws or screwdrivers. http://screwgrabber.com/kickstarter

    Bendpak XPR10

Ok I just got a chance to actually weigh my truck, and no big surprise the actual weight was MUCH different than the claimed curb weight. From a quick Google search it looks like the published curb weight for my truck is 5972lbs. The actual weight with 1/4 tank of fuel and no occupants was...

new garage doors wont stay down

On really tall doors it can be tricky to get them set perfectly, but yours aren't that tall. My shorter door (10x10) will stay wherever I put it. My 16x14 will hold itself somewhere in the middle, but will open itself if it's near the top, and close itself near the bottom. Just depends on how...

    Bendpak XPR10

Ok here's what I did on my bend pak MX10CX. Could have been cheaper but my local fitting place didn't have everything in stock so I had to combine some pieces to make it all work. I had to use 3 fittings to adapt the gauge to the pumps extra pressure port, but I've seen the adapter to do it with...

    Bendpak XPR10

That's an apples to oranges comparison though, as trailers are rated by their GVW (gross vehicle weight) whereas lifts are rated by their lifting capacity. One specifically includes the weight of the vehicle itself while the other implies actual carrying capacity. I dont remember the actual...

    Bendpak XPR10

The right way to calibrate it is to actually weigh a vehicle at a certified truck scale. Advertised curb weights are often quite far off and dont account for optional accessories, fuel loads, etc. Just filling the tank on my truck changes it's weight by over 250lbs. As for the question of...

    Bendpak XPR10

Looks to me like this is exactly what they did, and then marked up the price a ton. You can get high pressure gauges just like that for under $10 from surplus center, which is probably what I'm gonna do. Then you just have to calibrate it to figure out what the corresponding PSI/Weight is and...

    Need help finding compressor parts.

Good to know. I would like to have them on the shelf for when that does happen though. Since I use this compressor for my business it would be a HUGE inconvenience to have it break down and have to wait for parts.
