Radiant heat in the concrete floor. The floor area stays too cold. And plumbing. It's a real hassle to get water out to my shop.

I adjust mine so the air is directed down. My shop is cold towards the concrete floor.

I've had an Eastwood 135 for a couple years and haven't had any problems. It does well with sheet metal. I ended up buying it from Eastwood through Ebay. On sale and with free shipping.

If it has a set screw, sometimes they can be hard to see. On my bathroom faucet I had to use a small mirror to see it as it was on the back of the handle, which was close to the wall.

I use corrugated cardboard, cut to fit. I've done it to all of mine. It was put in my oldest tool chest/box when I bought it new in 1979. Still in there and in good shape. The price was right also.

That's what I was thinking. I'd hate to see the insurance premiums on one of these trucks.

What gets me is buying tools that I already have. I did this the other day. I spent $35 on a tool because the one I had not put in the correct drawer. I didn't discover this until I had used the new one so I couldn't return it.

No problem so far. If needed, run a couple screws as stops.

This is basically the same unit as I have, as discussed in eariler post. Mine is from the late 70's and the new one looks to have not changed much. Mounting and thermostat are different. My heater has been installed in three different garages and has served me well.

I have one 5kw heater in my 32x24 post frame w/wall and ceiling insulation. If it's 30 or above, it heats good to around 63 degrees (where I set it) although it takes 2 or 3 hours to heat to a comfortable level.
