    Insulating an insulated pole barn?

Pull the pipe out as you dont want that inside your walls. Then go get some 2x4s and if your 5 ft on center on the post get either 10 or 20 footers. Less cutting and waste that way. Install them on the inside of your post either at 16" or 24" on center. Just the way they did your outside wall...

What to use for pole barn ceiling

Go with the steel not that bad on price easy to install and you can wash it down if it get dusty. I put tin on the ceiling of my 30x60 and used osb on the side walls. Makes it easier if you want to add cabinets or hang anything on walls.

    Infloor heat set-up

I've been told that if you run that kind of temp in the floor it will destroy your concrete. Makes it fall apart. Temp of floor should stay about 80-90.

    Pumps for in floor heat

Do you really need two pumps to make a simple one zone in floor heat system work? The insturctions that came with the boiler shows two pumps on system. I've got a 1800 sq ft building with 6 runs of just under 300 ft of pexs. All the floor will be at same temp to heat shop to 50-55.So why...

logwood wood stove from Home depot

Best thing for a wood stove is two 55 gal. barrels and a northern or harbor freight stove door kit. Just keep it away from walls and anything that will burn and be sure to open it up once in a while to keep pipes clean.Make great heat.

wood stove questions and thoughts --please--

Back in the early 80s I took and old iron fuel oil stove that stopped working and removed the burner. Then made a 1/4 thick steel box that I welded to the opening where burner was removed with a barrel stove door on it. You could put about 24" wood in it. Once it got hot a little you turned on...

Ceiling options other than OSB or drywall?

Dry wall seems cheaper then steel untill you add in extra weight, taping, primer, paint, not water proof. You can wash the tin if need be. All of a sudden tin doesn't look that bad.
