I live in Canada aswell. I epoxyed my floor with epoxy-coat ( don't reccomend IT ) and then redid it With a product called cipador e-100 , great stuff. Call your local concrete supply co and see what they sell. I also advise you top with a urithane clear or it will yellow in the sun. Mine did.

Well, weeks gone by and nobody has contacted me back since the reply from epoxy-coat on this thread, I send details and pics . anyway what I have done is sanded the floor and bought some clear coat epoxy from somewhere else , my Epoxy-coat looks worn and discoloured but the clear brought it up...

Epoxy and poly are different beasts but do the same jobs, google is your friend here. Long story short a top coat or clear is the protection layer over a coating of some sort , it will give you the look of wetness and smooth finish. I just did mine with epoxy , I put a thick layer of clear 100%...

i have clear coated my floor with 100% clear epoxy over grey , i just discovered urethane is the way to go over epoxy and i will do over top eventually , but in the mean time for a garage floor with epoxy what kind of timeline can i expect before noticeable yellowing to occur for indirect sunlight?

That seems to contradict what a lot of experienced users here suggest about using a sandpaper ,I'm not saying your incorrect or anything I'm just worried that it may not be enough , have you done this before? Thanks for all replies. I really want to develop a plan here in the next few days.

Basically a couple of passed with moderate pressure should be enough? I already have a dull matte look , that's what is confusing. Maybe a stupid question but 1)how will I know when I've stripped all the finish/ wax off to move onto sanding? 2) how will exposed flaked respond to sanding?

Looks good , I could see my washer lines too like colouring , I spent 4 hours tring to get a uniform shade ( not needed) let dry them vaccume , swipe hand and if you see no dust your good to go.
