    garage floor in Canada

I live in Canada aswell. I epoxyed my floor with epoxy-coat ( don't reccomend IT ) and then redid it With a product called cipador e-100 , great stuff. Call your local concrete supply co and see what they sell. I also advise you top with a urithane clear or it will yellow in the sun. Mine did.

    Polyurethane off gas

Exactly what off gassing can I expect. Lots initially then gone or is it always there. It's for a garage topcoat

    Epoxy-coat review

For the record I was lead to believe this product was stain resistant . I wasn't told about any products to clean my floor, despite trying all the cleaners mentioned on my own and a true guarantee nothing was left on my floor longer than 2 days . I stand by my honest opinion and DO NOT...

Epoxy Clears vs Polyurethanes top coats

Epoxy and poly are different beasts but do the same jobs, google is your friend here. Long story short a top coat or clear is the protection layer over a coating of some sort , it will give you the look of wetness and smooth finish. I just did mine with epoxy , I put a thick layer of clear 100%...

i have clear coated my floor with 100% clear epoxy over grey , i just discovered urethane is the way to go over epoxy and i will do over top eventually , but in the mean time for a garage floor with epoxy what kind of timeline can i expect before noticeable yellowing to occur for indirect sunlight?

Sanding info for epoxy floor topcoat

Urethane clear , I could not find it where I live , just got the 100% called cipador-e-100. Hope the gloss lasts. Just worked all day prepping, I used a rotary floor buffer I rented with the black pad( most aggressive ) with degreaser /cleaner for multiple passes , rinsed and squeegee about 4-5...

Sanding info for epoxy floor topcoat

That seems to contradict what a lot of experienced users here suggest about using a sandpaper ,I'm not saying your incorrect or anything I'm just worried that it may not be enough , have you done this before? Thanks for all replies. I really want to develop a plan here in the next few days.

Sanding info for epoxy floor topcoat

Basically a couple of passed with moderate pressure should be enough? I already have a dull matte look , that's what is confusing. Maybe a stupid question but 1)how will I know when I've stripped all the finish/ wax off to move onto sanding? 2) how will exposed flaked respond to sanding?
