Thanks for the replies.
So can I just run single walled pipe all the way outside?
I'll be venting horizontally about 4 ft to the wall, and another 18 inches outside total to meet spec.
Good evening-
I have a 100k btu nat gas heater installed in my 36x60x16 shop. I can't seem to find an exhaust vent pipe that will fit it.
The connection on the heater itself is somewhat of an oval, measuring 5 inches high and 7 inches wide.
I've found Oval to Round adapters online, but none...
I guess to be honest with you i'm not really sure!
I know I don't want epoxy, as for the other stuff i'm not even sure what it is. I just know what I need, and that is something that can withstand oil/coolant etc being on it and not stain it or absorb into the concrete. I would prefer a shiny...
Wow that's cheap. Makes my 36x60x16 building look like I got bent over :/
I'm currently trying to figure out my insulation as well. I plan on putting DuPont Tyvek house wrap inside before putting any fiberglass insulation up. In my opinion, If you put the fiberglass insulation on the metal...
Hello all, I am currently in the process of building a 36x60x16 pole building which can be seen here http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=219843
The concrete is 5inch wire mesh reinforced. My question is this. I want to seal the concrete, but I'm not sure if it needs to be...
Thanks everyone, after spending the time and money so far it's nice to see other people appreciate the project, especially since my Fiance seems to care less :/
So the roof currently has just the R-7 2inch vapor barrier stuff on it. What i'd like to do is cut some slits in that insulation to...
Hello everyone. I'm nearing the end of my pole building construction and thought I would post some "time-lapse" photos if you will of the building process, the photos were taken with my iPhone Panoramic photo feature, I tried to keep the resolution down to help the bandwidth.
The building is...
Madapple, what did you insulate your shop with? I'm having a 36x60 shop built, and I still cannot figure out what to insulate it with.
Also, how has the Armor Proxy been holding up?
Thanks, Carl
My shop has 46 in ground lifts, for BMW's, we used them 11 hours a day 6 days a week. When we moved from our old store we had above ground lifts.
These 10k pound in ground rotory lifts are sweet. You have to be careful driving onto them and off, if you're a little off to one side or the other...
Yeah, I was definately a little bummed when I first found out, but I'm over it. The more and more I talk about it and look at the overall picture, I really would rather have my own road anyways. It might cost a little bit more in materials, but I think if it was meant to be it was meant to be...
Great looking building. I'm currently in the beginning permitting stages to build a 40x60x14.
I may have missed it, but did you insulate the side walls? I know its a sensitive topic here, just wanted to see what you were going to use.
Thanks, Carl
Ok thanks. It should just be fill dirt, where the house sits was raised quite a bit from the original lot to allow for drainage. I've got a civil engineer that I just talked with today, she'll be writing an estimate by tomorrow.
I think that possibly just using some 3/4 ply wood sheets might...
Wow, can we bring it back to the original question HAY YOU, mrobins297aaa, robin1731.
As irritated as I am with his decision, it is what it is. Here is the original question from the first post. THANKS!
My question is this, I need to be able to drive a loaded dump truck across my septic...
