I work at a detail shop and I do quite a bit of car badges. I'm looking for a dual axis laser level that allows for tilting adjustments on the lasers. I don't know much about laser levels but I know that I need one that's self leveling and if possible id like to keep it under 100 dollars.
I have the Lang made blue point 3 size set, wouldn't trade it for the world. Multiple replaceable tips, internal or external rings. well worth the money.
Anyone in the Midwest use the OTC Hub Grappler on a regular basis. I am considering buying it, but want to know about anyone's experience in the rust belt with it.
It depends on where you shop. I'll tell you that the sets that SEARS pumps out on super sales are not normal Gearwrench quality. You often get what you pay for.
Can you explain this I was going to buy the 99$ stubby/standard set this weekend.
I work as a pro everyday. I have an old school craftsman 521 set. I'm in Michigan in the rust belt. The craftsman set IS one of the most bang-for-the-buck sets, but it does come with some caveats. Me and the snappy guys do the same work everyday right next to each other and there is no question...
Originally I was going for the IR 118 max but got to use it and was very underwhelmed. We have a SO 2050 and 2 3050's in our shop and the 2050 actually hits harder, but they are pretty underwhelming too here in the rust belt. I looked at some 4x rivet guns but after doing some reading it seems...
Has anyone tried to replace their harbor freight chest with better drawer slides.
I'll be purchasing the 56" with a side locker and add on drawer cabinet, and think the HF slides are horrible. I have a 17 year craftsman pro ball bearing grip-latch full of tools and the drawers still slide great...
I guess I should have clarified. The craftsman set that I have now will be going home because I don't have a tool set at home anymore. I'm basically building my pro set from scratch and swapping things out as I get them. As far as the stubbies go. It's more about size range than anything else. I...
I decided to get the gearwrench long pattern set and Im getting my stubbys and regulars in Carlyle. After using The gearwrench sockets I had already planned to buy them but my craftsmans are doing fine right now, so ill upgrade them after I get the wrenches done.
