surprise surprise. Ordered 6 things, including one that said there were 6 in stock, and got the call that nothing was in stock. Lovely.

Thanks for the Kobalt heads up. Didn't get the big sets, but bought a lot of nice stuff for ~$18... Now, to see if I can actually pick it up, or if it mysteriously disappears sometime between now and lunch.

After putting it off, forever, I happened to be at Home Depot last Saturday, and noticed this. $3.98 A quick check revealed the hooks hit the holes on pegboard almost perfectly. After some very slight tweeks with some pliers, voila. HUGE space saver, now I've got to rearrange my...

I just happened to catch the New Yankee Workshop where they talk about that cabinet. Apparently it used to hang in the Smithsonian.

Don't know if it's been posted, but yesterday I was able to pick up a couple of Kobalt aluminum 6 in 1 screwdrivers for a new lower price of $2.97, down from $8. Link I love 6 in 1s for tool bags, and the aluminum is unique.
