its nice working inside now. swapping engines in the rainy weather wasnt the greatest :) all the ceiling plugs except for one are wired into a light switch.

its very similar. i see the reviews are bad but i have beaten the piss out of this one and it has never failed me. i have had it 16 years or so.

yeah, it is big enough for me now. i haven't been able to use it till recently because i was dumb and hurt both my arms.... all i could do for several months was sit and play guitar till my elbows started throbbing with pain. picking up the wrench was out of the question. :wtf:

that is a larin vise. not expensive or exotic but it works well. and yes, that is a piece of rail. small but useful. i don't know who made it or even remember where i got it.

digging around in the garage today i found a couple of things i forgot i had: thought someone might find these interesting.. looks like the vise has had some surgery though....

not too much going on here except moving stuff around.. found a lows gift card on my counter from who knows when? decided to build a bench with it... i still have to add a few more pieces to the legs, also add doors and sides. two lower shelves are 24" deep. bench top is 30" deep and 8' long.

This weekend I rerouted the dryer vent line from its original location. Since we added onto the garage, it has been venting in there. I was worried about mold, mildew etc... The dryer is in the basement and not convieniently located for a short duct run anymore. The old run was approximately...

Well, apparently I cannot put a outlet box on a stud the right depth for what Sheetrock I decided to use. I did a little search on how to bring the outlet to the correct depth for those like me or others who might be adding a layer to their existing walls: These little babies are stackable...
