Any of these heavy socket designs are seriously one of the better innovations of the last several years. Cheap too. Total no brainer.

Does the Obsessed Garage Youtube guy have OCD?

Poser is right. His opinions re tools mean zero because he buys and sells them as jewelry, rather than to actually use.

    Tools of Japan

I remember coming across all kinds of tiny factories in what were very residential areas of Nagoya, back in the early 1980s. Fascinating. Thinking back, they were probably associated with the auto industry in some way

Yeah it's organized and efficient but seems way overkill for what is a really simple problem with a cheap solution....wipe it out and hang it somewhere, call it good. But this is GJ where we dig this stuff it seems

Agree with ajhd comments re the cdi. Difficult to read the scale and 36 teeth wasn't ideal. Norbar far better and probably the icon too

    Tools of Japan

Simple, they sell at list price or higher and the profits support that kind of crazy inventory. They are also located in extremely large cities by USA standards

Yeah I looked at those y75 pliers too. Clearly quality but I couldn't come up with a use case to justify purchase.

Stubby Sockets That Can Be Used With a Wrench Recommendations?

Check out the Tone rgd-** short sockets with the hex drive end. Very nice, made in Japan. Pretty sure they are shorter than anything else out there.
