I like this idea... use a portable fan to force warm air from the warehouse in to the trailer. Not sure how affective it will be. The trailers arrive...
we have those at all 14 dock doors. But it would cost a fortune to mount a heater to each. I was thinking something more portable that could be moved to the door that is being loaded.

I work at a distribution center. The building is heated, but the 7 plus trailers that we load daily are not. I was thinking about buying a forced air propane or kerosene heater. but most of them are listed as OUTDOOR use.

I decided to add a portable two post lift to my 24 X 30 garage. I ordered the Dannmar MaxJax. With the help of friends, we will raise the low ceiling 2' in the center 24 X 20 to accommodate it.

Good info, I am looking to do something similar. Are you guys buying styrofoam sheets from Lowe's etc? Anyone tried those garage insulating kits? Or are they just fancy packaged styrofoam sheets?
