Two coats of SW Armorseal and one coat of SW Rexthane.
Color on both is steely grey.
Garage floor has fiberglass in concrete. Didn't realize it until the epoxy went down.
Here's a pic:
The hairs were not seen to the naked eye before the epoxy.
I already did 2500sq ft of concrete with the same rollers without issue.
As soon as I saw the hairs I thought time to replace the rollers.
I did and the results were the same.
Ok just finished the garage. The Rexthane is MUCH darker than the epoxy that went down. Everything is the same color code.
It went on beautifully. I can see where it will help the color unevenness.
It's not going to hide the fiberglass hairs, I don't expect that.
The hairs are turning into sort...
Yes. Followed directions to a T.
They think it's too hot out for such a large area, 2500sf. They want me to put the top coat on very early or at night.
It's also the same color. They're saying that should give a it a uniform finish.
I'm battin a 1000 so far.
Garage floor is hairy but is shaping up.
Hangar floor has a lot or roller V marks and areas were its glossier than others.
Sherwin Williams said to role the Rexthane down opposite of the epoxy to help even out the shine.
Any feedback before I put the Rexthane down...

I'm going to mix in some shark grip so people don't bust their cans when walking on it.
The small bottle says 1lb per 5 gallons. My Rexthane is in 1 gallon cans.
I'm curious of dosages/mixtures of shark...
That is correct.
Think of it as opening up the surface and now the fiberglass strands are sticking out.
I believe if you continue to grind the floor you will just keep exposing fiberglass hairs in the concrete.
It makes sense to burn them off. I already put a coat of Armorseal on though.
I'm...
Holy Jesus. I won't be removing them mechanically.
Yup it has fiberglass in it for strength. It was ground with a floor grinder. Now the hairy surface is showing. It already has Armorseal on it. I guess I'm sol.
There's not one sight of a crack on it.
At least the hanger looks good so far. It...
Well I laid the Armorseal down today on my hanger and garage floor.
The hanger looks great. The garage looks like it has hair in it.
I'm planning on one more coat of Armorseal and then Rexthane.
A contractor friend stopped by and said the hair is due to fiberglass in the floor. It's only in the...
