Free Easy bulk Resizing of pictures

I second Irfanview. Not only can you bulk resize, you can add copyright marks, rotate and crop, and adjust color. It is a free download, so all the work is done on your computer, nothing goes over the network.

    Automotive ScanTools 2016

Depends on what you are after. I have HP Tuners scanner for about $350, you need to supply a laptop though. It can capture everything on the bus and do data logging. For more money it will upload tunes. Tim.

Code or best practice, wiring light fixture with switch.

Gerald O, that explains some circuits I've seen where the wire goes from the breaker to the light fixture and then to the switch. The cable from the fixture to the switch had a white, black, and red wire, white was unused neutral, black was power (live), and red was load.

Code or best practice, wiring light fixture with switch.

Simple circuit, from breaker to light fixture to switch. Do you run the wire from the breaker to the fixture and then two wires to the switch or do you run the wire from the breaker to the switch box and then to the light fixture? The first may save wire, but there will not be a ground or...

    Winter car storage concerns

If you only have access to the garage and not the owners of the vehicles I believe you will be covered by garage keepers laws in your state. You can say what you want, but you will be responsible for any damage while in your care. Talk to your insurance agent to find out what liability...

How much light is too much light?

I have 11 4' T5 (two bulb) units in my 24' x 24' x 10' garage. Ceiling and walls and doors painted white. White Melamine cabinets along one wall. I need more light though, just over the rear of the cars by the overhead door and something to light the engine compartments more. Lights hang...

    Garage Design Questions

I see such a curb in garages with the furnance/hot water/softener in the garage. About 3" high to keep **** flowing into the utilities from the cars, such as snow melt. What is your anxiety about?

    Dry wall question

I've used peg board (cannot do large items) and Garage Grid hangers (take up a lot of space). Both also leave items out in the open to get dusty or catch as you walk by. Using 3/4" plywood sides, top, bottom (but not back). I built 12" d x 48" w x 72" h cabinets with 1x4s across the back to...

Copper or black pipe for gas outside?

Inside I had copper feed to gas hot water. Contractor said it is okay as long as the copper line was coated inside to prevent the gas reacting with the copper.

    Show Me Homebuilt Storage Cabinets

I made my own garage cabinets, see http://www.wanderingsol.comule.com/Pages/GarageCabinet.html for my process. One of the features mine has is the ability to take the back off the cabinet and change the tool hangers without taking the cabinet down or doors off.

    Lighting: Overboard, or WAY overboard?

I have a 22'x24' two car attached. 10' ceiling, two 7'x9' doors. Walls, doors, and ceiling are painted white. One long wall is cabinets with white melamine doors. I have 14 4' 2 bulb T5 lights, hanging down about 18" from ceiling. I have 4 lights across the front of the cars, 3 on each...

You're welcome! :-) I figure I had a part in the price drop as I bought 2,100 of them last fall.

    US Map

If you buy two Delorme Gazettes for the same state you can make a map of the state that will fill the wall. I believe Indiana comes out to 4' w x 7.5' h. There are alignment marks on every page that show where to cut and align.
