Thomas- I do not post much but have been following this thread from the beginning. This fall at the AACA meet in Hershey PA, I found a Walker Roll A Car No. 784 Series E 4 ton that looked liked yours. Thanks to all the great details that you had provided it gave me a lot of knowledge to make...
Re: garage refurb
Eric - Nice job ! I ripped out the pvc and replaced with black iron. I wish now I would have painted everything before install like you did. The fittings are rusting and I need to paint . The only thing that I do not like is when I drain the lines rusty water was coming out -...

How about the pork chop sandwich from Snappys Lunch. I have a friend in Danville and we have to go get one every time I visit! I even got my picture taken in Floyds Barber shop.:D

I would not think that would be an issue. The guy that hit mine apologized and paid for my air and gas to heat and straighten the pole. As said prior the telephone poles are a greater hazzard .

Nice job on the box! I built one like it over 20 years ago after replacing several. I put it on a steel support column and set it in concrete. It has held up really well. The only problem was my neighbor was coming out of his driveway, got distracted and totaled his car!

Many Thanks!

Hey Dave - Still involved with some security work to support my hobbies. It is nice to be able to pick and choose what you want to get involved in. At least now the risk of getting hurt is a lot less. I really like your paint set up! We were in Minden NV a few years back with my car club...
I had a box in my shop for years - every time I had a bad craftsman screwdriver I would throw it in the box. One snowy day this winter I took it to Sears and matched up all the tools for exchange. No fuss or problem. They gave me a sales receipt for over $400.00 . No complaints here!
I used furing strips on 2 ft centers then used 4x8 sheets of the 1 inch insulation board. Very light and insulated the building very well. Unless appearance is very important. I did this in an old shed with 2x6 oak ceiling joists. You have to use the nails with the plastic washers. The building...
