I buy the 13 pc Lenox kit from Lowe’s when they go on sale for $50. Normal price is $90. Even at $90 it’s not a bad deal. The mandrel that come with it are ok but I like the spring loaded ones better. It’s a good starter set for most people.
Totally agree with the holes in the corners and jigsaw with stainless blade. We’ve also used thin cutoff wheels, .040”, I think or even thinner on an angle grinder to start or even complete the cut. I’ve cut dozens of holes in stainless elevator panels for new fixtures. I would cut from the...
We only use the CM Hurricane because it allows for easier use of the pull chain when user is pulling from the side of the load. Not sure of COO though.

Great work! Thanks for the coupon too, $26 dollars shipping to Hawaii for (9) units. Less then half of what I can get at HD or Lowe’s. Hopefully it comes through.
I like to buy sets myself because I can never have too many batteries. I normally have 4-5 tools out on a project and don’t like switching batteries or waiting for them to charge. I normally sell the chargers on CL to recoup some cost.
As for multiple brands, I’ve stuck with just Dewalt as...
Just curious how these deals compare to the ones in your area. I’ve looked online and they seem as good if not better and they offer great customer service. Please see link to ad below.

It's been a while since I've posted anything, forgot the easiest way for me to post pics is from Tapatalk. The box isn't loaded with the real tools yet, just the ones I've been using to build it. I will update as I add things.

I wanted to make better use of my Knaack 89 box at work so I made a full width drawer (the bottom wasn't installed at the time of the pic), swing out tool boxes to access the shelf behind and a uni-strut frame that re-enforces the swinging boxes and will me to bolt on accessories like the vice...
I was able to get some welding time in today and finished welding the reinforcing plates to the box tubings. I welded all four sides which I think is overkill but what heck.
I used 7018 3/32" and 1/8" rods and a Maxstar 150S. Gotta go get more rods so hopefully Airgas has some Hobarts or...
Started mocking up the parts to see if I like the way it works and it looks good to me for now. Instead of tapping just the box tubing or welding a nut I decided to weld a 3/8" plate and tap it and the box tubing at once. I wanted a little more strength where the set screws are going. Got...
Thanks Sublime. Found pics of some of the tables that inspired my build. I don't know the all member's names as I found some of the images by just a Google search but I'll be taking a feature of each that works for me.
I also read a post by a member about using a pallet jack to move his table...
