My new workbench is complete (minus the junk that will fill it soon). Base cabinets are the Husky Heavy Duty 5 drawers I bought in November. I've been saving up my Menards rebates to buy the butcherblock and just added the 4 coats of Waterlox to seal it from moisture. At least I'll enjoy it...

Ditto! Contact the reputable vendors on here and read read read. You'll find a wealth of information here to help with your decision. What I wouldn't do is apply acrylic and then have to go back and redo it all over again. Trust me once is enough. Remember time is money too.

Just use Rustoleum's 2 part epoxy repair. It's cheap and it works just fine.

Did you contact Devoe/Norklad/Colorchips and ask them for bulk pricing on their primer? They probably have it, just not advertised. I used their primer and was very happy with it...

Sounds like the same issue I had which was the resin and hardener had spots that weren't mixed completely. Sorry to say but it will never harden. You'll need to scrape the soft spots, sand, and solvent wipe with xylol. You may be able to get away with spot repairs, but you'll probably have...
