The end of the shaft is round. It's 5/8. The inside flange, which I have, is keyed. I got side tracked and let this slide. I'm going to order the one from MMTools. Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I searched quite a bit and couldn't find anyone that had them. My local dealer didn't have any chop saws and won't order a different one without paying for it. I'll try the mmtools site.

I picked up an older Makita chop saw (Model 2412N) pretty cheap but didn't notice that it was missing the outer flange. Unfortunately the part is no longer available. I'm just wondering if anyone that has a different chop saw such as a Dewalt or some other brand if you could measure the flange...

Has anyone used aluminum grating for their cutting table? I have access to both with the aluminum being a lot lighter to manage.

Resurrecting an older thread. I acquired one of these guns with a broken anvil. I have a new anvil and would like to tear the gun down, clean it up and re-assemble it. Is there a guide as to what and where to grease it on re-assembly? The metal end cone with the hammers is quite gummed up. Thanks
