    spray foam insulation video

I have a metal 21x22x10 garage I built several years ago. I have no plans of heating it but at some point I plan to do a thin layer of spray foam. The problem I have is at night it cools down then when the sun comes up it sweats and drips inside. So this would be prefect.

I bought one about a month ago. I live in upstate NY. It works good as long as the temps don't get to low. My shop is 27x30 with 8 foot cieling. Sunday it was down to 25 in the shop I turned in on at 9:00 in the morning it it took all the way till 12:00 before the garage hit 40. If its 40 to...

    Water heater for Radiant heat.

The shop temp this morning was 25 degrees. I turned on the electric heat which took about an hour and a half to bring it to 60. Shop feels warm but floor sure is cold. After a few hours my feet where cold. Time to turn the radiant on.

No the solar system is for the whole house and shop. Where putting in a 44 panel system that should put out 17,000K. If the system performs like its suppose to I;ll go with a electric boiler. Its suppose to be over sized for what I need for the house and garage.

    Water heater for Radiant heat.

You got it correct. The tank heater has a pilot and it keeps the water in the tank warm all the time even if I turn the circulator off. So I was just looking for something that didn't have to run all the time. So I figured the on damand would be a better way to go. Even if I kept it at 45 when...

    Water under garage door.

Hey guys whats the best way to stop water from coming in under a garage door. It faces the north so everything we get heavy rain with winds it comes under the door. Allot. The door sits down tight to the concrete all the way across and it seems to be sealed pretty good.

    Water heater for Radiant heat.

You are correct I'm trying to save money. Like I said keeping the temp around 50 last year used around 400 gallons of propane. With the cost last year I was paying over $4. A gallon. That's allot to heat a shop. Even this year its come down to around $3. Here in NY. I do want to keep the radiant...

    Water heater for Radiant heat.

There is anti freeze in the system. I;m not sure how much so I leave the circulator pump running just in case. Two years ago I didn't use it at all. last year I did and kept it on 50. This year I haven't used the shop to much so I don't want to waste gas for nothing. So for now I'll just use the...

    Garage insulation.

I have an 18x22 metal garage with ten foot side walls. I have the floor done but still need to put in a door. It tends to sweat now and drip on the stuff inside. I'm not planning on heating it but was thinking if I had it spray foamed with like an inch layer to seal it up if that would stop the...

    Water heater for Radiant heat.

Thats what I have been doing for the last couple of years but the propane is still expensive. I was just looking for something that will use less propane. I do have a small electric heater in the wall but it takes a couple hours to warn the garage up if its at 50 to bring it to around 60. I...

    Water heater for Radiant heat.

The garage is only 27x30. Very well insulated. When the hot water tank style heater was installed it was OK because propane was cheap. Last year keeping the heat at 50 then using an electric heater to bring the temp up quick worked OK. I used around 400 gallons of propane. So this year even if...
