Is this a factory craftsman wrench?

The ones quick wrenches I have are like a standard wrench with a semi-circle cut into the upper jaw, this one confused because the top jaw is shorter and the semi-circle is where it ends

Is this a factory craftsman wrench?

Found several craftsman wrenches like this and picked them up. I've never seen one with the open ends that look like this. Is this something they put out? What's the purpose of it if they are.

Walmart Getting Serious About Tools in 2026?

Something tells me that at least some of the hart and hypertough stuff come from the same factory

Looking for a tape measure with metric on BOTH sides of the tape - anyone know of one?

Found an older stanley powerlock that had both standard and Metric on it at a garage sale this summer. I had to buy it because I had never seen Metric on a tape measure before

Gearwrench Warranty in Australia - Is Gearwrench still considered a quality product?

When K-D changed to Gearwrench and everything went overseas I quit buying. And based off the comments here, there's no reason to change that

    Under Hood Automotive Lighting

I think it's 3x, not 7x @ 60. I used to just use the drop lights that were under the hood, now they don't have those any more

Stanley sockets at Walmart, early 2000's

They (popular mechanics) were U.S. made before going to Taiwan. I still have some of my 1/4" drive sockets.

Did Gear Wrench just put the smack down on Snap on . . .

I have no doubt that China can make something just as good or better than a U.S. manufacturer, however, I try to buy as little as I can from there, or other similar countries that allow child labor, extremely low wages, horrible working conditions etc etc.

    Snap-on date code

I have a small pair of snap on dikes that I am trying to figure out the date code. To me it looks like a mirrored version of 1949, as it faces the wrong way compared to the charts I've seen. The "A" on the left side of the picture is part of USA, for orientation purposes.

    Craftsman V-series clearance

They had different size ratchets, torx sockets, socket rails, wrenches and stuff, but it's all been moved to, and marked down in the clearance section. 1/4' flex heads and some torx sockets was about all that was left

    Craftsman V-series clearance

Wonder if Craftsman is discontinuing their V series, or is Ace no longer carrying them, or is it just my local Ace hardware, because all their V series stuff is on clearance. 1/4" flex head ratchets are $25
