I don't have a welder yet but want one, need at least 80 gal. compressor, so 5-10 hp? No water or ac unit. Want lights (8ft?), maybe pellet stove, grinder just your basic bare bones pole barn work area. Thanks, Mike
Also, would like a 4 post lift!
This will run from my house (200amp box) to the 30x40 pole barn (100 amp box). The distance is about 80ft from box to box. I have 2" conduit that will be under ground and the wire is aluminum.
Thank you so much all for the responses! I want to run just about anything......220v air compressor...
Ok, here goes.....got a barter going here for wiring my garage. I know NOTHING about what to do. I need to run wire about 80ft. This is what he brought over. Will this run just about anything I need? Thanks for any help!!
OK, I still haven't taken care of the cracks in front of the garage door and want to do it before winter. Any of the products at HD/Lowes that will work good?
I'm cutting sheets right now. Someone said I should keep the bottom one off the concrete about 1/4"-1/2". Yes or no? Also, do I need a gap between the poles? 1/8"???
Thanks!!
I hear that! I want to wrench in my building........so how did it work out? Is there any issues with binding or ?? with the OSB or styrofoam? Does it stay warmer? Would you do it again?
I have 1-1/2 foam behind the osb so its flush with the girts...... I just saw that I should leave a 1/8" gap on the osb?? Man, this is making my head hurt!
I guess the gold color would blend in with the osb. :headscrat
If I were to use the drywall screws, should I be worried about rusting?
Also, what should the spacing be? Thanks!!
OK, got some foam i'm putting between the girts and 7/16 osb over that. Good enough for me! For screws...........is it ok to use 1 1/4" black drywall screws? :headscrat
OK, 1st off, anyone filled their expansion joints? I have lots of stuff on wheels and noticed a few chipped edges on the joints. Will sealing it prevent this?
Also, the 3' approach to my pole barn has some hair line cracks........is there a sealer I can put on it to keep water for causing more...
Shirk did the floor too. I just noticed ANOTHER crack in the approach......no major issues with the building so far.
The pitch is 4/12
I guess its about time to add new pics, huh?
