A spark plug socket, 1-5/32, with a closed top. Totally unmarked. Came with a mixed set of Mossberg, RAY and no name pressed steel sockets. Doesn’t quite fit the Mossberg ratchet, but you can adapt with an additional socket.
Any ideas of the origin of such a socket?
Also with the set was this socket spinner, 1/2” drive opening.

I have a bunch of those sockets and have not figured who made them or when. They don’t seem as old as the open-at-both-ends type.

After a quick search on the internet, Alloy Artifacts.org identified this as a flex extension made by C.M.B wrench company
A little further dig and I think that is a socket set from cmb
You nailed it, @Ayrhead!
I’m wondering if the sockets are Mossberg or perhaps a different manufacturer
Hard to tell from the angle, but chances are C.M.B., given the overall context, and you can just make out the telltale large raised (forged-in) fraction marking on a couple of them, which is a convention Miller liked to use in all the corporate iterations of his productivity, including my Syracuse and Charles Miller sets.

Hello Dr. Lugnutz,
Is it ok for me to post a marketplace ad on the forum? It’s not mine, it the CMB ad that the guy won’t reply to me. Maybe someone in PA would buy this for themselves. It’s a good price.

I refrain, because I generally like to separate technical and historical discussion from buying and selling (and appreciate Ryan separating Classifieds from the discussion forums a long time ago), but I have seen other members post links for sales on ebay, FBMP, and other sites. I don't know if it's considered "okay" or not, though, and I am not a moderator.

Thanks bro Tooler.

@chasinfram , you can always grab the pictures from the link (if there are others) and the title to post here. It would help others doing future research with more pictures, and if someone who is local wants to try and search for it, they can choose to do so.
