No pump jack experience; I have driven several shallow wells in Michigan and used a hand pump during testing, but not with a pump jack. Will be following this.

Mac, I just found your thread a few days ago and have read every post and watched every element of you and Laura's work since the beginning. Then I come to this final page to read the sad news of her passing. My prayers are with you during this most difficult time and I think she is right there with you as you work on the well and pump.
Today was one of the most taxing days for me.
I walked out of the house and saw Laura's car in the carport and my immediate thought was "Oh, Laura's home", and then reality set in.
I had to get rid of Laura's car. I went to a car dealer and was overwhelmed by state of car dealers today. I came home and went online to carvana and the car will be gone.

It's NOMFB, but I'm going to speak my thoughts anyways: be cautious in making large, serious decisions in the next few weeks. If there are things you feel must be done, seek council from a relative, close friend or maybe get legal opinion.Today was one of the most taxing days for me.

In my situation, I was physically and mentally drained from the months leading up to the loss of my wife of 42 years and was ready to sell property, and take some other less advisable actions due mainly to my somewhat altered mental state. Just be careful of significant changes right now..

Mac, i am very sorry for your loss. Losing your life partner is the worst thing.
