Friday night I got a call from my sister about a noise from her crv. She said it had a terrible vibration and they had tires put on earlier in the day. I thought it sounded like a loose wheel so I grabbed my torque wrench and headed over to her house to check it out. Her husband handed me a brpken bolt head he found in the cul de sac and I figured there was no way it came from her car because it had a 12 pt head. After some digging and checking wheel torque I had him move the car and heard the noise. I crawled under the car to find

this mess. The bolts all missing, and sure enough the one he found let go as he bacled out of the driveway. I fpund him the Honda part number and told him to call the dealer and order them. Well the dealer had them in stock which I did not expect, so I went back and put 3 of them in. I couldnt get the last little piece out so they brought it over for me to dig into. I got setup to drill it and realized it moved when I center punched it

and of course now that Im not lying on my back on her garage it spins right out.

New bolt in and torqued and good to go.
We spent fathers day at the pool relaxing even though I had 587 things I needed to be doing. I spent Saturday night fishing with my son who upon returning to the house told his mom our trip sucked because he didnt catch anything. I am trying to teach him patience with fishing and he has a hard time grasping that its called fishing not catching.
Last thing was my you **** deal from last week arrived Friday morning. I sent a rollback after it and I feel like that was totally worth it. My buddy closed his shop last year and had a lot of stuff there that was of use to me. He refused to sell me this last year but decided to let it go since he never got it where it needed to be. I picked up this Bendpak lift for 500 bucks from him.

Its been out in the driveway for a bit and needs some cleanup and a bit of paint, but this will definitely help in regards to small jobs like brakes or other quick items that dont require being under the car. I like this style more as the drive over ramps prevent damaging bumpers like my old mid rise could do. I didnt think I could go wrong for the price, and not having to deal with getting it onto the trailer was worth the extra money for sure. Just need him to dig out the power unit from his shed and it will be good to go.
