Good idea. My fake Milwaukee pressure washer also has a misting function although have to figure out if there is a way to lockout the trigger.

The only thing about that kit is it requires a pressurized water source where as the Kobalt fan will just pump it out of a 5 gallon bucket. A M18 to Kobalt tool adapter is like 20 bux. I haven't tried it with a fan but I feel like this might be the easier route? The misting kit is cool though.

This thing puts out an insane amount of light. I dropped in one of my 12 amp hour batteries and I had this light on high while working in a tight confined area with little light for over an hour.
Lost power at the house this evening so I grabbed that light and I put it on its lowest setting and literally my wife hot power had come back on cuz I had this at the bottom of the stairs and it was illuminating a lot of area that you could see including upstairs and downstairs.
about an hour later power came on, and only one bar on the battery had been used.
All dealing with the power loss. I just raised it a bit so it was just above my eye level and put it on the low setting and it still kicked out a bunch of light.
All I was doing my work, I was replacing a grounding ******** a water line in a tight area so I had the light directed exactly where I wanted it.
When I bought it honestly I was thinking about illuminating entire ceilings or entire walls, I wasn't thinking about doing plumbing in a tight area. Okay it was a tight area for me to get into but there was enough room for the light to stand up, man. I'm really liking it. Highly recommend it.

Have two of the v1 rocket lights still going strong. These things saved my **** during a couple of long duration power outages we had out here in CA. I tend to haul around other lights for working on stuff unless its an extended amount of time. The rocket lights take like a few extra minutes to setup...
I love mine but they **** with the larger amp hour batteries. The low battery warning is at a percentage or something so it starts flashing with the 12.0 WAY sooner than it needs to. The 5.0 battery is what that light seems to be calibrated for. When it flashes using a 5.0 battery, it really is time for a new one. With the 12.0 it starts flashing and there is SO much juice left in the battery. Very annoying. Overall a great light and I love mine though.
Got my original M18 12.0 battery back from RMA last weekend and it magically became a M18 12.0 Forge battery. Now I've got 2x12.0 and 2x12.0 forge batteries. Shipping it out was a pain but the warranty upgrade was really nice. I wonder if I'll be able to mow most of my property on a pair of fully charged batteries now that I don't have a bad one in rotation. This was most def screwing me over.

Glad to hear they upgraded you. I think my one semi lame 12.0 might be going on 8 years? Pretty sure I got it with the first m18 chainsaw that came out. Doubtful I am in the 3 year warranty period though 
I have several M12 6.0 batteries that won't even take a charge, all out of warranty. I bought a battery spot welder and was going to open them up and fix them... eventually. Has anyone ever swapped bad cells out in their batteries?

I've rebuilt one m12 3.0 with newer samsung cells that died. The same ones used in the HO2.5.
Not completely terrible if you can desolder and pop the spot welded tabs off.

It does.
The 2.5ah batteries have a higher amp output but supposedly less capacity. The higher capacity is why there are higher failure rates of the m12 3.0 and 6.0 batteries, as they are a higher stressed chemistry iirc. In real world use I think the 2.5 & 5.0 basically match longevity in use, while still having more oomph available.

Getting their cordless air hammer, the videos of the tests done on it are amazing. Uses my regular air hammer bits
Maybe we should request TTC do an episode on that? would be cool to see if the different boards in the batteries perform different with the same cells.
Looking forward to your review of it.

I'm SO glad I bought this thing!
I've been using it a lot over the past two weeks, in the RV.
Last week, I was working on some plumbing, and cleaning out mouse nests in some compartments, on pretty hot days (windows open due to the mouse odor, so no AC). Got that cleaned up (and bleached!), and ran the fan on high for many hours over multiple days, and I only needed to charge the 6 Ah battery once.
I've been sleeping in there this week, and running the fan on low-medium (for 6+ hours a night), and haven't used much battery at all.
I keep forgetting to plug it into electricity to make sure that works properly.
The only three things I'd improve is:
1. Make it oscillating.
2. Build in a charger, so when it's plugged into electricity, you can charge a battery while running the fan.
3. Make the base smaller.

I have this fan and it's great.
The improvements you suggest are trade-offs - it would be bigger, more expensive, less stable, not fit Packout, or whatever. And then a bunch of people would complain about that.
By smaller, I meant not as tall. Definitely keep the Packout.
But oscillating, especially with an adjustable limit, would be great to have.

pretty sure that holds the nozzles for the spot blower.
That makes sense. I pulled one out and tossed the package in my box and haven’t touched it since.

Anybody real close with the complaints department at Milwaukee?
The 2928-22 “Ringer” pipe groover comes in a big case with super flimsy handles that are cracking after only a few uses of the tool. This is a huge oversight on their part considering the weight of this tool, she’s a mighty beast with a lot of gravity. And the handles aren’t even properly affixed at the inner pins so they kinda want to twist out when you lift with it.

See, what had happened was.....
A while back, I acquired a Milwaukee porta band of the battery variety. I was originally irritated because I had to download the dang app and crate an account and all that for the tool lockout. After I set it up and thought about it a bit, I was less irritated. It's a nice safety feature if nothing else so folks in my shared space (even though I know them well) can't cut anything they aren't supposed to.
Turns out that saw is amazing. Cuts really well, easy to use, plenty powerful.
Another project has come along where I need (want) a track saw. I did some digging around the internets and decided on the Milwaukee track saw with a 55" and 106" track (105"?). Also picked up another charger, battery, and clamps. My rep kicked in a 10 pack of blades. All came in except the long track. This should be fun!
Not sure if this qualifies me as an addict yet, but I may be on my way. I don't plan on migrating all my cordless tools until such time as they die.
