I've heard of someone on here polish out scuffs, owner marks and stuff out of hard handles. One example looked real nice. Anyone ever do this before?

Try the same part number SDD6R1RG just change the 6 to a 2 or a 5. Search the forum. The part numbers for the handles have been posted several times. But it ranges from 2,5,6 and 8 on size and of course the last letter denotes color.

That was a good deal. I wish the green hard handle file set that's on Ebay right now would stay reasonable :(

Wife went to visit her family in houston this weekend. Every time she visits I check ebay and craigslist for deals I'd normally miss out on. Last trip was a pair of HP exhaust manifolds. Today shes coming back with a black hard handled FHNF100. Handles a little worn so off it comes....on goes a...

My guy had a zip up display case on the truck today that had those in red, green and orange as well as four or five other kinds of pliers and needle noses all in green, red and orange. I think I saw Georgia post a picture awhile back of the case. I set aside all the green.
