I have them and think they are great for the money. the paint stripe is kind of cheese i will say.

They already write country of Origin on the product, its not really as if anyone is hiding anything. That's just another thing for our government to have there hand in, monitoring the size of a flag on packaging.

I don't see anything wrong with variety. They have a product for a customer that doesn't care about quality and a Higher end tool for the customer that does. I would be more upset if I had only one choice, that was junk.

I have a wide selection of kobalts, and I like them a lot more. I do have a couple raised panels, and the premium craftsman, I just really like the feel of the Kobalt stuff alot more.
