I can be kinda forgetful, so.....

Sounds like a owner that doesn't maintain air leaks. My compressor stays one 24/7 and it only cycles when I use it.

Actually, you can use a breaker as a switch. "......Both the ANSI and the NEC definitions acknowledge the potential for the legitimate use of circuit breakers as switches. Switches (pass, but do not consume electrical power) are considered as being control devices, thus one may also say that a...

    Blasting cabinet modification question

That was my first thought, even before turning off the overhead lights. But yeah, I thought it would get quite hot under there I would imagine. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

    Blasting cabinet modification question

When I came here to search for my question, the first thing I saw was the sticky up top about abrasive blasting resources. It was like those Sundays when you go to church and you swear the preacher was preaching about you that day. Anyway, WOW, there is a ton of info in there. I will be reading...

What's on your walls? Neat storage ideas!

The cabinet is an old fire hose cabinet, like you used to see in stairwells and hallways. The slatwall came from old T-Mobile displays. I've been looking for the cubicle cabinets for a couple years now, and can't ever seem to find any for sale around here.

    The Multi Purpose Shop

Yeah, drives, we been fortunate to have his older brother in the auto service program at tech, the last two years. But he's graduating in a few weeks, so the free alignments are over. As far as cleaning up that mess, I've got a commercial pressure washer hooked up behind the shop. It's funny...

Painted the bed Saturday afternoon. Like I said, the bed is temporary, so no body work, and just enough sanding to get the paint to stick. I had no doubt it was gonna happen, but he didn't waste any time :3gears::bounce:

    garage electrical outlets

Yes. I have tools that permanently stay plugged in to the nearest outlet. Not sure if you consider that as "using" an outlet, but I do. I "use" almost every outlet across my east wall at one time, on my wood working side of the shop. However, since there is only one of me out there most of the...

    garage electrical outlets

That is just slatwall with a frame around it mounted to the wall with a cabinet between them, with the same slatwall inside the cabinet. Edit: Here's a more explanatory pic of it. I haven't taken the time to lay out my wood working tools on it yet, but you get the idea...

    12 feet in a house. I can't remember without looking if it's different in a garage/shop.

Not sure I follow your question. Which pic are you referring to? Edit: you talking about the black box behind the stove?

Drives, fuel actually jumped 20 cents in the last couple days, so I paid 2.43gal this morning. After waiting over two hours for the quoted 1hour windshield install, that I made an appointment for, I wish I'd have paid the extra money for the mobile service. It cost me $164 for the glass, seal...

    The Multi Purpose Shop

So, while the bed still needs painted, I decided to break it in Roadkill style by driving it to Tulsa to get a new windshield this morning. Nothing like a 60 mile round trip for its maiden voyage, right!? The temp gauge got a little higher than I'd like to see, It needs an alignment really bad...

    garage electrical outlets

Food for thought. Some may disagree with my reasoning here, but I put a single receptacle every 4'-4 1/2' turned horizontal. I prefer it this way because I will never have cords laying over each other. It cost more in boxes and wall plates, but well worth it to me. My boxes are at 48" to the...

    The Multi Purpose Shop

Thanks fella's. Oh, and drives, he wasn't the one who wrecked it. He sold his dirt bike to buy his first truck, and bought it that way for $500, about a year ago. He just turned 16 back in November of last year. It was supposed to be ready by then, but it turned out to be a bigger project than...

    The Multi Purpose Shop

Hey 55stone, thanks for visiting and taking the time to read. I have not mentioned any updates on the sealer. But first let me say, and forgive me if I miss spoke before, I put down a waterproofer, not a sealer. And boy, let me tell ya, you can tell. I've got oil stains all over the floor now...

Man, i don't know how you manage to spray in a 10' area. The bay I'm in is 12' wide and it was as close to the truck as I wanted to be. It looks good from far, but far from good. I am no body man, that's for sure. We still need to get the door handles and mirrors back on as well as...
