    **** On pf720b

Cool thanks, I'll take mine apart and see if I can find any part numbers or something. Would be interesting. I must say for a cheap ratchet I think it feels lovely, if it wasn't so heavy i'd use it alot more (can't fit something over the end for extra leverage very easily either :( )

    **** On pf720b

Hi :) Could you tell me a bit about the 4th one in that picture (the chunky handled one). Who makes it and where you got it from please? I have an identical one to that but it's branded "Halfords Advanced/Professional" (can't remember which) in the UK. What do you think of it? Cheers :)

Round VS Pear head. What is your ratchet preference?

Pear too. I have a couple of round ones but they never really get a look in to be honest. Smaller, easier to flip direction and always feel tighter. I love the "pear" headed units :)

What site is this referred to as?

You know as soon as I saw it was a 3/4 I thought "Im a *******, ofcourse it is!" but yeah, you're right I *never* deal with imperial measurements. Life in the west country is good. I never realised how lucky I am to be surrounded by all this greeness until I travelled away from it!

Craftsman sockets not holding up well..

I've got a socket that's got a chunk of plating missing off the bottom but there's no rusting or further flaking, it's been like that for about a year of regular use. It gets stored outside in a damp(ish) garage (leaky roof :().

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Hi Thomas + Chris, Another UK visitor here. I've spent the last 3 nights reading the thread and I must say i'm absolutely in awe! I've got one single garage (Which you'd struggle to fit a car in with nothing else in it). An american car would certainly never fit in. I'm sure you appreciate how...
