    Sometimes rocker reinforcements from used quarter sections. I cut grade 8 bolts that are rusted shut. I will use my electric reciprocating saw to cut rails and such but sometimes to access welds of a usable panel I have to cut around alot with one hand so the air saw is ideal.

    Thank you that's exactly the input I was looking for. The geared mechanism seemed like such a good idea being that it wouldn't stall but I wandered about the gears quality.

    So my rigid air saw went out on me the other day.I loved that tool used it alot probably too much haha. As a body guy im cutting alot of hss and thick gauge metal. I need a saw that can last more than 8 months. Anybody have experience with either of these tools or recommendations.

    I own the 1/2 inch 20 v impact and there's nothing a snap on impact can do that mine won't. My coworker actually had trouble getting an axle nut socket of with his and mine zipped it off.
