    Assembling proto socket rails, metal

I ran into the same issue with a Proto drive reducer/adapter set. https://www.amazon.com/Stanley-Proto-J52006-Socket-Adaptor/dp/B001HW8Z84?tag=atomicindus08-20 I ended up just throwing the socket rail in the trash and used a VIM Tools magnet rail.

I forgot to include these in my tool haul yesterday. Bought these to use when replacing front load wheels on electric reach trucks. https://www.ebay.com/itm/144407512119

Minus the KTC swivel ratchet I just ordered, this should be it for a little while as I just signed off on a new job where I won't be turning wrenches for a living. The afore mentioned KTC ratchet. I have grown to like having the swivel head ratchet for certain things but the Olsa Tools ratchet...

I had my Matco ratchet repaired by my local rep not too long ago for a similar reason and he replaced the head as well. He explained why but I don't really remember. I think it was something to do with the notches/detents for the locking lever.

Ah, that makes more sense. But from what I can find, that's still a good price; as long as you have good Matco rep.

I am genuinely impressed that it's cheaper to buy it from Matco.

I have a Rennsteig branded pair of those. I find they tend to only work well on heavier gauge insulated wire. https://www.rennsteig.us/products/stripping-tools/88-automatic-self-adjusting-insulation-stripper-multistrip-10

A little late, but the tool haul for the week. Some of these came from JB Tools on clearance and I just couldn't pass them up. I think one or two of them someone else posted not too long ago. https://www.jbtools.com/topdon-bt50-battery-load-tester-cranking-and-charging-system/...

My tool purchases for the week from Amazon. I may never use the timing light but I have one now, just in case. https://www.amazon.com/INNOVA-5568-Pro-Timing-Light-Tool/dp/B000EVU8J8/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I didn't know Knipex made hog ring pliers until recently, so I picked up a pair...

Can anyone identify this filter wrench?

That's how I felt about the 3-legged variants. I know some people like them but I could never get them to work.

Can anyone identify this filter wrench?

This is the only style I care to use. They make a bigger variant. If I need anything bigger than that, I use a Ridgid strap wrench.

    half-size lug nut socket?

Man.... I've been down pretty bad this week. It has been nothing but Mondays all week. I ended up here from the new tool arrivals thread and I've just got to say how thankful I am for not having to deal with this type/level of foolishness anymore.

More stuff I came across that I needed for work came in today. The E8 I needed to remove the air flow sensor on newer Toyota forklifts. The TR25 is needed for taking apart the mixer and EPR. I guess Toyota doesn't want people messing with those for some reason. I have needed a heavier-duty...

Do you have or have you used the digital ones from Milton? I have an analog Milton gauge at home and a PLC digital gauge for work. I have been debating getting the Snap-On myself.

Do SAE inhex/ male hex /hex key get used by you? Where you see them?

Scope rings, scope bases, and other firearms related stuff is what I mainly use them for.

What's the point of having a thread restorer kit if you have tap and die sets?

Thanks to this thread, I finally remembered to order a replacement M10X1.5 rethreader tap and die.

This finally came in. This will also supplant my Snap-On branded set, at least until I can get the broken stuff warrantied out or replaced. I use the 19/64" drill bit on a weekly basis so it will be good to have a duplicate...
