    Best Impact Bit?

    Agreed. Torx for the win. After I started primarily using Torx screws, I went and bought a decent set of bits from Lisle. So far they have held up. I do still have some phillips but I just buy a handful of bits when I see them on an impulse rack at the hardware store.

    I keep a Proto in my center console with a few other odds and ends for emergencies. It's basically brand new since I bought it for that purpose only but it's holding up great bouncing around in my truck everyday. :)

    I actually talked to his daughter about it and she agreed that using the tools would be the best thing. He was a cranky, old Alsatian and wouldn't stand for having tools that sit on the shelf looking pretty.
