    Do I need a gas regulator on mr. heater 45000 btu

    I am installing a mr. heater 45000 btu natural gas unit. I have a newer house with the 2lb. gas system, do I need a gas regulator? If I do, I have my main line comming into the house, than a regulator, than a gas dryer and a water heater. Could I add my heater onto that regulator as well?
