    Tapered bushing won't install into pulley

    That style of pulley is a joy to use. Easy to assemble and easy to remove and they don’t slip and get loose. The gap is necessary to get a tight fit. note the threaded holes on the flange to jack the bushing apart.

    Hydraulic Cylinder Gland nut removal

    Turn your pins 180* and tack weld tool to gland and it will come apart. When done zip wheel the tacks off and clean it up. It will work.

    Thanks for the reply. Did you purchase the 9000# lift or the 11000# one? I have since watched some videos of them and they say the same thing about the directions and hardware. I laid it out on the floor and I think it looks like it will work for what I need.

    Best approach for tapping into a buried waterline

    That’s the way I do it. I take a die grinder and grind the rings out of the couplers of every size and leave them in my box ready to go. I mark the ones I cut out with a sharpie. I have done it many time successfully up to 3”.

    Bib wanted inside, the other side is below grade. I tho about hydraulic cement but I didn’t know how it would react to the copper pipe. I didn’t think about rapping the pipe.

    Possibly Moving

    I had the same problem when I moved from Kansas. There my main shop was 4800 square foo, I thought I. Could find something like that where I wanted to be, no dice nothing even close to what I wanted. Seen a couple listed as huge shop 30x50x10’ sidewall’s and it even has electricity!!!🙁🙁
