Walmart 1.24 screwdrivers look just like Cornwell

I was in a pinch and had to change a brake light bulb before a trip outta state. I was headed to NYC and didnt want a brake light bulb out. It was $3 in gasoline to go back to my shop or $1.24 at the Walmart I was at. Entonces... I bought the screwdriver and the lightbulb and traffic jam snacks...

    Hot glue dent pull tips

I backed my girlfriends little 500 into a bumper of someones truck. It seems fairly straight forward to get most of the sheet metal back presentable. Any tips for this? I know its an art and I'm not expecting it to look like nothing happened.

    Questions about compressor pumps

So I was cleaning out my storage garage and my neighbor that owns the other side gave me some stuff from his business. Part of that was these two air compressor pumps and the tank. I don't know anything about them but they seem to have an oil pump on the front? They look small. Any info? I don't...

New snappy 100t - who else is like meh

I feel like there is a lot less interests in this ratchet then other big releases. Im definitely not interested in it enough to purchase. I don't know if it's because their pricing has been astronomical lately or what. You know their little kit with a ratchet, 4 swivel sockets and an extension...

My local hardware store has a 20v atomic kit on sale

It's normally 170 on sale for 99. Is it worth it ? I'm not sure the model number I saw it walking out of the store. 20v atomic 1/4" drive. I don't have any dewalt but I'm not opposed to switching over. I can use the Mac tools.

    Best tool related joke

I always get a crack at asking helpers who have no mechanical background for that 17/34 wrench. But once in a while I'll get a kid quick with math. And then I say you need to pick a smarter career lol. (Joking)

    I'm designing a tool..

It's 3D printed - And I want to keep it free for anyone to make, even if they end up machining it from Aluminum. Eventually I'll release all the models and picture but I don't want someone patenting it or something and then charging people for it. How do you stop that? I want to keep it free.

    Snapon new locking flex

Well it's not that new. Maybe a year and a half old. I have it in extra long. I don't know if I'm completely convinced I love it more than Matco. I've had it since last summer. Sure the old style is a wicked pain for knocking into the locked position so it definitely needed to be rethought. But...

    Perfect drawer depth

I never liked the super extra deep drawers nor the super shallow ones. My Matco 4S box was like 24" deep which I found to be good even if they were 22". But even my KRL I find to be a little deep and the Epiq is non sensical. I'd rather have like a wide drawer 60x20" deep than a 40x30. Maybe I...

Can someone here turn a custom profile in an air hammer bit for me?

I was wondering if someone wanted to make some quick money. I need a profile turned into the end of an air hammer bit. It drives a brass fastener so if it's not as hard after it doesn't matter.

    Socket Question for the pros

Or those in the know - For semi rounded 12 point fasteners like a ferry screw, do you think a spline socket works better for removing? I gotta get something. Sick of these jeep hub bolts and my poor danaher 12 point socket from when I was 17 taking the abuse to remove it. I have turbo sockets...

Listen ol' man - your beat up box and old tools ain't worth $4500

The Craigslist ads - wow. Worn out SnapOn mixed with Craftsman in beat to hell boxes. 5 - 6 - 12k!? What is going on with these prices lately. What do they think they have in there? Gold?

My gripe with youtube tool reviews

Maybe I'm following the wrong YouTubers but I don't really care how the tool comes out of the box. Or if it's 50 rpm less than the closest competitor. Is there any channels out there that review the tool being used for an actual job? Like how does the battery hold up when falling off the lift...

Sentimental tools you keep around but would normally toss

We all have them. In a drawer. We will never use them but don't need them or don't even want them. For me it's the old poopy smelling handle screwdrivers I was given to by dear family. It's not even my first screwdriver set. I wore those out years ago and they were the Ace true value Stanley...

And it can't be your co worker haha. most things I don't pay any mind too but when someone is going full career with the air grinder / cut off tool there's a point I gotta ask if there's a faster way to do it.
