My (sort of) Detached 32x30 Dream Garage.

Thanks, I agree it’s crazy how much control they have over what I can do on my 2.5 acres. Thanks! Thanks, I think I’m really going to like having those doors. I’m south of Gettysburg PA. The drag worked great, but it’s a very heavy pallet with something like 3x4” oak boards running the...

My (sort of) Detached 32x30 Dream Garage.

Getting started on the footers, it's got a concrete block knee wall so 2 sides can be below grade 12-14". Framing, 2x6 walls Mostly done except for grading, double doors so I can bring lawn tractor etc out the rear/side if there are 2 vehicles parked inside. Front done. I did the...

My (sort of) Detached 32x30 Dream Garage.

Back story of my garage. I've always wanted a big garage/shop. When we built our house we were on a tight budget and went with the stock 20x20 "2" car attached garage which I thought would be big enough to hold me over till I could build a detached garage. Turns out we don't drive smart cars...

    Densifier and Sealer or all-in-one?

Thanks for all the reply's and info. In addition to the PS104 I mentioned, I also came across Legacy Industrial HD39 as well as TrueLock TL39 which all look fairly similar. Does anyone have thoughts on which one is better? Are these products all pretty much the same? The biggest difference I...

    Densifier and Sealer or all-in-one?

I’ve got a new 32x30 garage, the floor was pored about a month and a half ago. I’d like to seal the slab, I’d love a cool looking epoxy floor but have neither the time nor money for that. Mostly I’d like to protect the concrete and hopefully make it a little easier to clean up fluid spills...

Should I cut control joints after a month and a half?

Thanks for all the replies. I think I’m going to go with what LLWillysfan said and hope that if it hasn’t cracked yet maybe it won’t. I’d rather not have any cuts in it, so if I’m past the most likely time for cracks I think I’ll just take my chances. Thanks again to all who replied.

Should I cut control joints after a month and a half?

Hi, I’m fairly new here but have been lurking and reading a lot for a while. I was finally able to have a 32x30 detached garage/work shop built (in southern PA). The floor slab was pored about a month and a half ago. It was not cut and currently has no visible cracks. The contractor is willing...
