I actually sorta, kind of, did "plan" it that way. I knew the 36K line would definitely be a few feet short but not until it was installed did I know the height at which to build the bench. I think the little shelter will be of great benefit in keeping rain water from falling directly on the...

and just as i had figured, the 25 ft precharged line-set was about 4 ft short Because I was running both sets of line inside one cover, I cut slits into the rear piece and ran heavy zip ties in order to pull the lines tight to the back.

So I guess I need to catch up on what I've been working on periodically over the last several weeks, that being the installation of the two mini-splits. Went with Mr Cool units from Chill Ventures here in Georgia. Tyler was very responsive and easy to work with and even gave a $100 discount for...

If you’ll look closely at the fixtures I’ll be using, you may can see the vent cut outs in the top. Hopefully they will help a bit.

He was wearing gloves but of course they didn't slow that nail down one iota. Old skin does get thin doesn't it, the least little scrape or nick draws blood. Thanks for sharing and weighing in on these lights @xtremek and @Bert_ . I'll probably buy a couple and try them out when the...

A bulb changer, hmmmm, do they charge by the bulb or hour. JK, that is a great idea, thanks. I'm beginning to get a better understanding of the points you made above. Here's a good article about 130V benefits. https://blog.1000bulbs.com/home/why-buy-130-volt-light-bulbs So I started...

Got the east and west walls done. This is the flooring I spent a couple days sanding. Wish I had had enough to do my actual floor. Most of these were pretty straight but the ones that weren't were a pita to massage into place. They seemed to always be bowed in the wrong direction to walk in...

They will be used in the shop area. They are approximately 8 ft apart at heights of 12 to 15 ft. Considering 300 watt incandescent, either mogul or standard base. Not sure what "color" light the incandescent is but I think I prefer it over fluorescent and the harsh and overly bright LED. I...

Oh I had a few runs, due mainly to the fact i was spraying in 8-10 mph winds and having to compensate. They are hardly noticeable so since they will be 14+ ft in the air I will leave alone. The first 2-3 I did however will need sanding and respraying. I used the paint prep on a cloth to wipe...
