Wrenches that were used to repair a Komet Knitting Machine from 1929…

I came across a gentleman who was a mechanic to repair the Komet Knitting machine as well as some Socks Machines. These were some of the tools he used to repair the machines… he let me take a picture of the manual but would only sell me the tools. He still wanted to keep the book.

There are 3 different indentations so I’m guessing that this tool is to install different sized seals… any other ideas? It looks like it’s for installing valve seat inserts. Thanks go out to Humber2 & Provincial for figuring it out.

    Show Your Larson Tools Here….

I picked up a Hinsdale pressed steel socket set and found 2 Larson pressed steel sockets in the mix (bottom two on the left in the box). It made me wonder if it came that way originally or had two replaced with Larson when the Hinsdale gave out…. Sizes 31/32 and 1 inch.

I think this is a really early example of an adjustable style wrench… no idea who made this one…

Hi Everyone: I thought this was a unique idea… as you straighten the handle it moves the jaw tighter onto the nut. Right now the jaw is seized but I’m working on freeing it up. Has anyone else seen something like this style of tool?
